Manning Coe

I am a graphic designer and artist based in Tokyo, originally from Connecticut, USA. My work draws on a variety of inspirations, including vintage cartoons, pop art and underground comics. My recent work has feels like an attempt to locate that sinister, all consuming “otherside” of some of our culture’s most enduring cartoon characters. I also make comics, which are published by Strangers Publishing, an indie publishing house in America.
