Irem

Irem, 21, is a video editor and producer originating from Istanbul. She moved to the UK in 2017 to pursue her business studies at university, where she has honed her skills through a year working for IBM producing videos, alongside her time spent with various creative personalities motivating and pushing her to explore and develop her skills. Her passion for detail-oriented storytelling is the driving factor in the videos she creates, combined with a visually powerful yet experimental approach to aesthetics. She has a strong belief that art of all varieties should be actionable and accessible to all individuals, regardless of their background, and hopes that she can provide this through the Kumo collective platform, alongside a rich environment for artists to explore and learn from one another.
